We can no longer recommend 123REG due to regular unauthorised billing by PayPal, it gets expensive!

After a heated phone call to 123-reg I would strongly advise caution in setting up an accout with them.
They have debited my PayPal account now twice without authority and because the second sum of money was clawed back by PayPal they have cut my account off and are demanding a £25.00 service charge to reistate it > Utter Gaul !!!!!!!!!!

Procedure.
* Check availability and register your Domain. If you already have a Domain OK.
* Order your package, when payment is received your account on the server will be created.
* Tell us your Domain name when ordering so we can configure your account for that Domain.
* We will also need to know if you need Frontpage Extensions installing.
* One hour after registration, point your Nameservers to ours - Job done so far.
* We will publish a holding page for you on the servers. ( This will be overwritten when you publish )
* After your Holding page is created you will receive an eMail with details of your account access.
* Open up your site in Frontpage or whatever publisher you are using.
* Hit the > Publish Website < button.
* You will have to point your publishing software to publish to your account on our server.
* Enter Username and Password and Publish.
* All being well your site should be online straight away.
* Log on to cPanel and take a good look around the back end of your site.
* Try to build your site gradually page by page.
* Set up an Account with Google, ( Webmaster tools ) and verify your site with them.
* Spider and Add XML sitemap - We will tell you how to do this.
* Add sitemap to your Google account.
* Keep a copy of your site on a USB stick or elsewhere as a safeguard. Please keep it updated.
